What is presbyopia?

Presbyopia is a condition that affects near and intermediate vision. It is experienced when the eye starts to age naturally.

Our specially designed Self Assessment will help us calculate how big (or small) the natural changes are in your vision.

What is the Morrow Self Assessment?

Our Self Assessment test is made up of 10 easy multiple choice questions, designed to give us a clear idea of your current vision. With a Morrow Visionary Profile you can learn more about your optical needs.

The Self Assessment is quick and painless. It will only take you a few minutes.

Your Morrow Score can help keep track of the incremental changes in your vision and should your score be less than 81%, we can help you understand the difference an ultra-precise Morrow Eyewear prescription could make.

Morrow Score = 01 - 20%

Your quality of vision is extremely poor. You are compromising on your visual-comfort and it could be impacting your enjoyment of all daily activities.

Morrow Score = 21 - 40%

Your quality of vision is poor. You are compromising on your visual-comfort and it could impact your enjoyment of most daily activities.

Morrow Score = 41 - 60%

Your quality of vision is average. You are compromising on your visual-comfort and it could impact your enjoyment of many daily activities.

Morrow Score = 61 - 80%

Your quality of vision is substantial. You might be compromising on visual-comfort and it could impact your enjoyment of some daily activities.

Morrow Score = 81 - 100%

Your quality of vision is healthy. You are should be able to experience a natural level of visual-comfort and enjoy all daily activities without compromise.

Do I need to complete the Self Assessment before booking an eye exam?

Ideally yes, but it's not imperative. By completing the Self Assessment, you'll find out if you are eligible for our technology.

Do I need to complete the Self Assessment before ordering a pair of Autofocals?

By completing the Self Assessment, you'll find out if you are eligible for our technology. This should be followed up by an eye exam.

Our eye exam is different to everyone else, because we’re different to everyone else.

Why is a Morrow eye exam different?

To reinvent the progressive lens, we’ve also had to reinvent the eye exam. Our advanced Autofocals require a level of accuracy no other eyewear prescription could offer. Trust us, you’ll see the difference.

How long does a Morrow eye exam take?

Appointments last around 30 minutes and include a meticulous eye exam, an Autofocal demonstration and a complete frame fitting. But whatever the results, there’s no obligation to order.

Am I eligible for a Morrow eye exam?

If you are interested in purchasing a pair of our Autofocals then yes, you are absolutely eligible for a Morrow eye exam. We can’t make your Autofocals without the precise measurements we get from carrying out your eye exam first.

Is a Morrow Optician qualified?

Before a standard optometrist can become an Advanced Optometrist they will first need meticulous training at The Morrow Visionary Academy. Educated by some of the industry’s foremost leaders, optometrists will fine-tune their knowledge and learn the new skills needed to prescribe Autofocals.

How often should I book an eye exam?

We recommend that you have regular eye exams between 12 - 18 months. This timeframe will spot any incremental changes that occur in your vision.

Can a Morrow Optician check my eye health?

Yes, your eye health will be checked by an Opthalmologist, they can examine and diagnose eye health.

The little details are important to us, because seeing them is important to you. That’s why all of our Autofocals require an ultra-precise prescription.

What is an Autofocal prescription?

An Autofocal prescription is made up of all the optical measurements we take during your eye exam.

How do I get an Autofocal prescription?

You can get your Autofocal prescription by taking our ultra-precise eye exam. We’re the only Optician that visits you at your home.

Can I use my standard glasses prescription when ordering Autofocals?

We would highly recommend that you take our eye exam to provide the most accurate result. If you do use a separate prescription it must be less than 6 months old.

Can I use my contact lens prescription when ordering Autofocals?

Contact lens prescriptions don't work in the same way that eye glasses do, so you can't use the same prescription. We would recommend a Morrow eye exam for accurate results.

Can I use my Autofocal prescription to order standard glasses?

Yes, you can use your prescription for standard eyewear.

When does my Autofocal prescription expire?

After 24 months. We recommend that you have regular eye exams, between 12-18 months to pick up any incremental changes in your eyes or vision.

How do I access my Autofocal prescription online?

After our ophthalmologist has performed your exam, you can download a PDF of your results via your online account.

Can I get a printed version of my Autofocal prescription?

You can download a PDF of your results via your online account. You will also receive a printed prescription in the parcel with your Autofocals.
